  7. If you received this version of WinZip in a self-extracting ZIP file 
  8. (for example, TP95.EXE), you can install it as follows:

  10. * On Windows 95: select Run from the Taskbar Start menu, type the full 
  11. name of the file (for example, C:\DNLOAD\TP95.EXE), press the Enter 
  12. key, and follow the prompts.

  14. * On Windows 3.1 (FOR THE TP31.EXE ONLY!): activate the Program 
  15. Manager, select Run from the File menu, type the full name of the file 
  16. (for example, C:\DNLOAD\TP31.EXE), press the Enter key, and follow the 
  17. prompts.

  19. If you received this version of WinZip in a ZIP file, first extract the 
  20. files to a directory on your hard drive, then activate the Program 
  21. Manager, select Run from the File menu, type C:\ANY_DIR\SETUP.EXE, 
  22. press the Enter key, and follow the prompts.

  26. ToolPAL 3.0 is a desktop add-on to either Windows 95 or Windows 3.1.  
  27. This version only supports Windows 95. To download the windows 3.1 
  28. version, you can find it at: ftp://www.artistry.com/pub/tp31.exe.

  30. Here is a brief description of what ToolPAL 3.0 does:

  32. Windows magazine says, ToolPAL has "More  Tools Than The Local Hardware 
  33. Store." ToolPAL 3.0 is a Windows utility for  constructing Windows 
  34. toolbars. Buttons can do 20+ different actions, including helping your 
  35. Browser navigate the Internet.  PC Mag states: "ToolPAL is the most 
  36. complete tool-palette builder available for Windows.  You can use it 
  37. to create multitabbed, multibutton floating palettes that launch 
  38. applications or documents, send commands to your programs, monitor 
  39. system resources, and generally simplify a host of tasks."

  41. This Windows 95 version of ToolPAL is only intended for use with 
  42. Windows 95--not Windows NT.  ToolPAL 3.0 has not been tested with 
  43. Windows NT and may not run correctly.

  45. The ToolPAL 3.0 User Guide is distributed as a separate file in Adobe 
  46. Acrobat 2.1 PDF format.  If this file is unavailable at the site you 
  47. downloaded ToolPAL from, you can get it at 
  48. ftp://www.artistry.com/products/toolpal/.

  50. To read or print the User Guide, you will need to have the 
  51. Adobe Acrobat Reader 2.1 or higher.  You can get a free copy of the 
  52. reader from Adobe at http://www.adobe.com or Artistry, Inc. at

  55. ToolPAL is a shareware program that can be purchased for US$30.00 
  56. directly from Artistry, Inc, from Compuserve, and using a credit card 
  57. from PsL, the Public Software Library.  For more information, read the 
  58. file order.txt that's installed in the ToolPAL 3.0 file folder.

  60. If you are trying ToolPAL 3.0 for the first time, you will have 45 days 
  61. to evaluate it.

  65. Register button in the ToolPAL 3.0 About dialog.
